FreedomGoLive uses the minimum data needed to authenticate you with Discord, show live streams inside your call, open temporary browser links, and connect viewers to broadcasters. It does not intentionally record, store, sell, or use your stream media for advertising.
1. Who Operates FreedomGoLive
FreedomGoLive is operated by the FreedomGoLive operator or team responsible for the Discord application. Use the support, website, or contact channel listed in the Discord application profile for privacy requests.
2. Data We Process
- Discord account data needed for the Activity, such as user ID, display name or username, and avatar URL.
- Discord Activity context, such as Activity instance ID and, when available, guild and channel identifiers.
- Temporary security data, such as participant tokens, one-time broadcast and viewing tickets, WebSocket credentials, connection IDs, stream IDs, and timestamps.
- Live stream catalog data shown only to people in the same Activity instance, such as broadcaster name, avatar, stream title from the browser-selected source, start time, and viewer count.
- WebRTC signaling data, such as SDP offers, SDP answers, and ICE candidates, which is needed to connect browsers.
- Technical server data, such as IP address, request metadata, error logs, browser/network information, and security events that may be created by the server, hosting system, reverse proxy, or infrastructure provider.
- Screen, window, tab, microphone, and system audio media selected by the broadcaster in the browser picker.
3. How We Use Data
- To authenticate users through Discord and limit streams to the relevant Activity instance.
- To issue short-lived links and credentials for broadcaster and viewer browser pages.
- To show who is live, what source is being shared, and how many viewers are connected.
- To exchange WebRTC signaling messages between the broadcaster and selected viewers.
- To protect the service, prevent abuse, debug failures, monitor availability, and comply with legal or Discord platform requirements.
4. Stream Media
FreedomGoLive is designed for live streaming. Browser media is sent through WebRTC between the broadcaster and viewers whenever possible. Depending on network conditions and configuration, media may use STUN or TURN infrastructure to establish or relay the connection. FreedomGoLive does not intentionally record or permanently store stream media.
Viewers may still be able to record, screenshot, or otherwise capture what they watch using tools outside FreedomGoLive. Share only what you want the people in the call to see.
5. Sharing With Others
FreedomGoLive may share or transmit data only as needed to run the service, including with Discord, hosting/network providers, WebRTC/STUN/TURN infrastructure, and service providers that help operate or secure the Activity. Data may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or when you direct the service to share it by starting or watching a stream.
FreedomGoLive does not sell Discord API data, does not disclose it to advertising networks or data brokers, and does not use it to profile users for ads.
6. Retention
- Participant sessions are temporary and currently expire after about 10 minutes.
- Broadcast and viewing tickets are one-time use and currently expire after about 5 minutes.
- WebSocket credentials are one-time use and currently expire after about 2 minutes.
- Live stream catalog records exist while the broadcaster connection is active and are removed when the stream ends or disconnects.
- Technical logs may be kept for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and infrastructure operations.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You choose whether to start sharing, what source to share, whether to include audio, and when to stop. You can stop using FreedomGoLive at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about how your personal data is processed. To make a request, use the support, website, or contact channel listed in the Discord application profile. The operator may need enough information to verify your Discord account and locate the relevant data.
8. Children and Age Restrictions
FreedomGoLive is not directed to children under 13 or to anyone below the minimum age required to use Discord in their country. Do not use FreedomGoLive if you are not allowed to use Discord.
9. Security
FreedomGoLive uses HTTPS/WSS, temporary tokens, one-time tickets, Activity-instance scoping, input validation, rate limiting, and browser permission prompts. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so please report suspected security or privacy issues through the support or contact channel listed in the Discord application profile.
10. Changes
This Policy may be updated when the Activity changes, when legal requirements change, or when platform requirements change. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
